    The watchdog additionally mentioned searches on tourism lodging lacked explanations for the costs and Google Play Retailer didn’t give shoppers causes for not publishing their critiques of apps.

    Following inspections carried out in 2021, the DGCCRF’s nationwide investigation division discovered that Google’s search engine “failed to supply data on the factors used to rank outcomes.” 

    Google’s anti-fraud division mentioned that they had since “corrected a part of the sanctioned shortcoming” and the corporate mentioned they regretted that the modifications had not been taken into consideration by the company.
