U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands are a gathering of Caribbean islands and islets. A U.S. region, it's known for white-sand shorelines, reefs and verdant slopes. St. Thomas island is home to the capital, Charlotte Amalie. Toward the east is the island of St. John, a large portion of which contains Virgin Islands National Park. St. Croix island and its notable towns, Christiansted and Frederiksted, are toward the south.
