Turkmenistan is a nation in Central Asia circumscribed by the Caspian Sea and to a great extent secured by the Karakum Desert. It's known for archeological vestiges including those at Nisa and Merv, real stops along the antiquated exchange course the Silk Road. Ashgabat, the capital, was modified in Soviet-style in the mid-twentieth century and is loaded up with great landmarks respecting previous president Saparmurat Niyazov.
