Saint Pierre and Miquelon

Saint Pierre and Miquelon is a French archipelago south of the Canadian island of Newfoundland. Scantily populated Miquelon-Langlade island contains the Grand Barachois tidal pond, home to seabirds and seals. The busier Saint Pierre island has an unmistakable French environment, with a house of prayer and the Musée Heritage, which celebrates territorial history. An island close by, Île-aux-Marins, highlights a deserted angling town.
