Nauru is a small island nation in Micronesia, upper east of Australia. It includes a coral reef and white-sand shorelines bordered with palms, including Anibare Bay on the east coast. Inland, tropical vegetation encompasses Buada Lagoon. The rough outcrop of Command Ridge, the island's most noteworthy point, has a corroded Japanese station from WWII. The underground freshwater pool of Moqua Well lies in the midst of the limestone Moqua Caves.
