Canada Day! What could be more Canadian than “Bush Flying”?
On Canada Day, the Canadian Museum of Flight will celebrate the role of aviation in the growth of our nation, with a particular tip of the hat to the contributions of the bush pilots who ventured into all reaches of Canada from the 1920s through to the present day. Saturday, July 1st, the Museum will be honoured to have one such pilot, Dominique Prinet, sharing with our visitors some of his experiences flying in the far north of Canada, making two presentations and chatting throughout the day. There will be crafts, and games, and aircraft with bush flying roots to explore, both from their collection and visiting. Admission will be by donation. Everyone is welcome and everyone is encouraged to come, for a great family day out. Further details of where and when can be found on their website.Details
